Product Processing
Material Selection: Medical-grade aluminum (6061-T6, 7075), stainless steel (304, 316L), or high-performance plastics (PEEK, Ultem).
Multi-Axis CNC Milling: 4-axis or 5-axis CNC milling machines used to create the complex three-way internal channels, external geometry, and threaded ports in a single setup to ensure precision alignment.
Internal Channel Machining: Precise drilling and boring of intersecting air-cooling channels and primary fluid pathways, often requiring specialized micro-tools and high-pressure coolant.
Thread Milling: Precision thread milling (rather than tapping) for high-accuracy internal and external threads (e.g., NPT, ISO metric, UNF) with smooth finishes and minimal burrs.
