Product Processing
Material Prep: Source certified 316L stainless bar (ASTM A276). Precision cut to required lengths, often stress-relieved for long shafts.
Long Shaft CNC Milling/Turning:
Primary Turning: CNC lathe for precise diameters, tapers, and geometries over long lengths.
Shaft Milling: Use CNC centers with live tooling lathes/4-5-axis mills for flats, keyways, slots, and profiles.
Process Stability: Use steady rests, follower rests, and tooling to minimize deflection and vibration.
Precision Threading/Tapping:
Thread Milling: CNC cutter helically interpolates threads. Best for large diameters and complex threads.
Tapping: For small/through holes, using rigid tapping cycles with synchronized spindle/feed.
Thread Rolling: Cold-forming for strong, smooth external threads by displacing, not cutting, material.
