Product Description:
We specialize in the CNC milling of miniature shaft and axle components from medical-grade materials for integration into small-scale medical devices. These parts are characterized by their small diameters (often under 5mm), precise lengths, and intricate features such as flats, grooves, threads, splines, or eccentric diameters that cannot be produced by standard turning alone. Using multi-axis CNC milling centers and micro-tooling, we manufacture these components with high dimensional accuracy, excellent surface finish, and strict geometric tolerances. Common materials include 316L stainless steel for corrosion resistance, 17-4PH for strength, and PEEK or Ultem for lightweight, non-metallic applications. These miniature shafts are critical for transmitting motion, force, or torque reliably in the compact assemblies of modern medical technology.
